This article explains how to fund your StoicFX account using cryptocurrency, including eligibility requirements, step-by-step deposit instructions, and how to resolve a delayed deposit.
⚠️ Important — Read Before Proceeding
Cryptocurrency transactions are final and irreversible. StoicFX has no ability to recover funds sent to an incorrect wallet address or transmitted on an incorrect network. You are solely responsible for verifying all deposit details before initiating a transfer.
Prerequisites
All of the following conditions must be met before a deposit can be credited to your account:
KYC verification must be complete. Deposits received before verification is approved will not be credited. Complete your verification before proceeding.
The sending wallet must be in your own name. Third-party transfers are not accepted and may be rejected or held pending investigation.
Minimum deposit: $10 USD equivalent, measured at the time the funds are received by StoicFX.
Choosing Where to Send Your Deposit
During the deposit process, you will select where your funds are credited:
Wallet — Funds are held in your StoicFX Wallet. You can allocate them to any trading account at any time using Internal Transfer. This option is recommended if you are not yet certain which account to fund.
Trading Account — Funds are credited directly to your active trading balance. The account must be open and active at the time of deposit.
Deposit Instructions
Log in to your Client Portal.
Navigate to Deposit and select Crypto Deposit.
Select your cryptocurrency and network.
Copy the unique wallet address displayed on screen. Do not type it manually — even a single incorrect character will result in permanent loss of funds.
Before sending, verify each of the following:
The wallet address matches exactly, character for character.
The network you are sending on matches the network selected in the portal. Network names are not interchangeable — for example, USDT on TRC-20 and USDT on ERC-20 are distinct networks. Sending on the wrong network will result in permanent loss of funds.
The asset type is the same on both ends of the transfer.
Initiate the transfer from your external wallet.
Processing Times and Fees
Your deposit will be credited once the required number of blockchain confirmations has been reached. Processing time varies by network and current blockchain congestion:
Faster networks (e.g. TRON / TRC-20): typically 1–5 minutes
Standard networks (e.g. Ethereum / ERC-20): typically 10–30 minutes
Slower networks (e.g. Bitcoin): typically 30–60 minutes or longer during periods of high congestion
Blockchain network fees are deducted by the network itself — not by StoicFX — and StoicFX does not charge a deposit fee. The amount credited to your account will be the net amount received after network fees. If the net amount received falls below the $10 minimum as a result of network fees, do not resubmit the deposit. Contact StoicFX Support first.
If Your Deposit Has Not Been Credited
If the expected processing time has passed and your deposit is not reflected in your account:
Check the transaction status on a blockchain explorer using your transaction hash (TXID) to confirm the transfer has been broadcast and is receiving confirmations.
If the transaction is confirmed on-chain but not credited in your StoicFX account, contact StoicFX Support and provide the following:
Transaction hash (TXID)
Amount sent
Network used
Date and time of transfer
Do not initiate a duplicate deposit until the original transaction has been investigated and resolved.
