If you want to temporarily stop taking orders, go to Stores and at the bottom of the store click on Snooze orders.

Once you click on this, you will have an option to choose how long to disable orders for or you can select a date when you are able to take orders again.

You can always remove snooze when you are ready to take orders again.

If you would like to close your store indefinitely, go to Store Settings > General, scroll down to “Close store” toggle Store is open then hit Save. Once you want to open the store again, you can just switch it back on.
