Configuring Tasks Settings

Set up new, custom tasks and categories or edit the existing tasks database to suit your needs.

Tasks Settings

Click on the wheel/cog icon at the top of the page to change the settings.

Here, you will be creating all the tasks you want to be able to assign to staff (i.e. ADLs, cleaning, assessments, medication distribution, errands, etc.).

There is a large default database you may wish to browse first, removing or editing tasks and categories you wouldn’t use.

From the Tasks Settings page you can:

  • Add new task types

  • Add new task categories

  • Edit any existing tasks in the database by clicking into the task's fields

  • Delete any existing tasks in the database by clicking the red trash bin icon that appears when hovering over the task

  • Re-order task categories using the up and down arrows

When creating a new task type, you will be prompted to select the following information:

  • Task icon

  • Task Name

  • Task Category

  • Task Description (optional)
