Measurements Settings

Click on the wheel/cog icon at the top of the page to change the settings.

On this page you are creating any custom measurement types your staff will be using outside of what is already provided. If you wish to remove any default measurements, you can press the trash bin icon that appears when hovering over the measurement type.

You can also create Measurement Groups. For example, many users create a Vitals group. This means staff can record temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate all at once rather than having to open up a separate measurement chart for each.

Custom Measurement Types

When clicking on the New Type button, you will be prompted to select the following information:

  • Measurement name

  • Measurement type

  • Unit

For example, Name: Fluids Given / Type: Number / Unit: mL.

Be sure to click on the green check mark to save your changes.

Custom Measurement Groups

When creating a new Measurement Group, you will be prompted to select the following information:

  • Group Name

  • Types (multi-select tool)

For example, Name: Seizure Group / Types: Seizure Type, Seizure Length, Hospitalizations

Be sure to click on the green check mark to save your changes.
