I am tax-exempt. How do I submit my tax exemption information so I am not charged sales tax?

Please note: Tax exemptions can only be applied to Storyblocks for Business purchases.

If you're using Storyblocks for business purposes to where your business or organization is extending its tax exemption status to the purchase of a Storyblocks membership and license, than an Individual License is likely not meeting the licensing requirements you need.

For Existing Storyblocks Customers

Ensure you are logged in to your Storyblocks account.
Submit your tax exemption document by clicking here. When filling out certificates, please ensure that:
1. The name on your Storyblocks account and your business or organization’s name are both included as the Purchaser/Buyer.
2. Storyblocks is listed as the Seller, Vendor, or Supplier where applicable.
3. Please complete all certificates in their entirety for the business you do with Storyblocks.
Please wait at least 3 business days to see your tax documents validated and linked to your Storyblocks account. If its been more than 3 business days and you are not seeing the tax amount removed from the purchase you are attempting to make, please contact our Support team at support@storyblocks.com.

For New Storyblocks Customers

Create a Free Account with Storyblocks. This step is required in order for our tax partner, Avalara, to review your tax exemption documents and match them to your account.
Submit your tax exemption document by clicking here. When filling out certificates, please ensure that:
1. The name on your Storyblocks account and your business or organization’s name are both included as the Purchaser/Buyer.
2. Storyblocks is listed as the Seller, Vendor, or Supplier where applicable.
3. Please complete all certificates in their entirety for the business you do with Storyblocks.
