1. Remove the Account from Chrome’s Saved Google Accounts
Open Chrome and go to myaccount.google.com.
Click your profile picture in the top right → Sign out of all accounts.
Sign back in only with the account you want Chrome to remember.
Optional: If the wrong account still shows up as a choice, go to Google Account Chooser and click the “Remove” option (trash can icon) next to the account you don’t want.
2. Clear Chrome’s Saved Cookies and Autofill for Google
In Chrome, click the three dots (⋮) → Settings.
Go to Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data → See all site data and permissions.
Search for google.com and remove cookies.
(Optional) In Autofill > Password Manager, remove any saved logins for the wrong Gmail account.
3. Check Chrome Profiles
Sometimes Chrome itself is logging you in using a profile tied to the wrong Google account.
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of Chrome.
If the wrong account is set as the profile, either:
Switch to your correct profile, or
Create a new Chrome profile with the right Gmail account.
4. Change Auto Sign-in Settings
Go to Settings → You and Google → Sync and Google services.
Turn Auto sign-in off.
This way, Chrome won’t automatically log in with whatever account is stored.
After doing this, Chrome will stop forcing the wrong Gmail login and will either:
Remember only the account you choose, or
Prompt you to pick each time (if you left multiple).
