The Ballot is a fair way to distribute tickets at random to friends old and new.
Many popular festivals use this system around the world. Strawberry had 3 x the number of registrations as tickets to offer, so sadly, not everyone was going to get tickets to SF this year.
Ballots prioritise loyal attendees as a way of recognition, yet the selection process is random, ensuring fairness while offering a higher chance to committed participants.
Low Income, First Nations and Yorta Yorta Ballot
The Low Income, First Nations and Yorta Yorta Ballot will be drawn on 25 June. If you are unsuccessful in this ballot, you still have an opportunity to secure tickets through the General Ballot. Be sure to register before registrations close on 30 June.
The General Ballot
The General Ballot closes on 30 June and will be drawn on 2 July. If you are unsuccessful in the General Ballot, your next opportunity to purchase tickets will be through the limited public sale, subject to availability.
Should tickets become available through the official resale process in the coming months, you will retain your place on the General Ballot waitlist and may be offered tickets as they become available.

Most successful ballot entrants will be offered the full number of tickets they requested. However, all ticket offers are subject to availability.
If only part of your request can be fulfilled, you will remain next in line for any additional tickets that become available.
