Which documents do I need?
The information provided below only applies to users who directly create a brokerage account with Streetbeat and, consequently, with Alpaca Securities, LLC. If you already have a brokerage account, and want to link it to Streetbeat, tap here to learn more.
Be 18 years old or older
Have a valid government-issued ID
Proof of address (photo ID with complete address on it, utility bill, lease, or bank statement)
Tax ID number (Taxpayer Identification Number - is an identifying number used for tax purposes in the United States and in other countries under the Common Reporting Standard)
Fill out the application inside your app
How do I create a Streetbeat account?
Download the Streetbeat app (Google Play Store - Apple Store)
Create an account and start the registration process
Upload the requested documentation/Fill in the requested information
Add a valid payment method
You can edit, upload missing documents or review your application process by following these steps: Go to Settings tab > Click on Trader Application
Once submitted, your information will be reviewed and if everything has been correctly shared, your account will be activated. In case it is needed for you to upload more documentation or if something is missing, you will know exactly what we need to get your account opened through your app.
The verification process takes from a couple of days up to a few weeks. Once your account is activated, you will receive a notification.
IMPORTANT: The shared documentation must match the Streetbeat account’s holder name and identity.
