What is an ACAT?

An Automated Customer Account Transfer Service (ACATS) is used to transfer stocks, cash, ETFs, and other investment products.

Can I make an ACAT transfer?

Absolutely! You can transfer the listed below eligible assets from your outside brokerage account into your Streetbeat account:

  • Stocks

  • ETFs

  • Cash

We are unable to accept:

  • Mutual funds

  • Bonds

  • OTC/Penny stocks

  • Warrants

  • Fractional shares and any other non-transferable securities.

You can start your transfer of assets in the app. Simply follow the steps below to start the process:

  1. Go to "Account"

  2. Tap on "Settings" in the top right corner

  3. Tap on "Transfer brokerage accounts"

  4. Tap on "Get Started"

  5. From there, you can enter the information and tap on Request full transfer

It normally takes 3 business days for the transfer to fully settle in your Streetbeat account. Keep in mind that Streetbeat does not charge a fee for this transfer, however, there may be transfer fees from your other brokerage firm that may apply.

Note: If you decide to ACAT out from your Streetbeat account, please note that a $100 Fee charged by our partner Alpaca Securities LLC will apply.
