Lettie Integration

Lettie is your all-in-one digital platform, designed to simplify and automate the complex and time consuming tasks of property management for landlords by handling 24/7 tenant triage on WhatsApp.

Key features

  • WhatsApp maintenance requests, synced to Street.co.uk - When a tenant reports an issue via WhatsApp, Lettie handles the conversation first. If the issue can’t be resolved automatically, a pre-populated maintenance request is created in Street and linked to the correct property and tenancy, no manual input required.

  • AI-powered issue triage and diagnosis - Lettie’s AI analyses WhatsApp conversations to diagnose the problem, assess urgency, and provide fault context before the request ever reaches your team. That means maintenance jobs arrive in Street pre-qualified, prioritised, and ready to action.

  • Daily tenancy and branch sync - Active tenancies and branch data are pulled from Street daily (or on demand), with Street remaining the single source of truth. This ensures every conversation and request is always tied to the right tenant and property.

Benefits

  • Save hours on maintenance admin - No more copying messages, chasing details, or re-keying data. Maintenance requests flow straight from Lettie into Street, freeing your team from repetitive admin and letting them focus on resolution.

  • Reduce errors and protect data accuracy - Every request is automatically matched to the correct tenancy and property in Street, eliminating mismatches, missed context, and costly mistakes.

  • Built-in compliance and audit trails - All tenant interactions are verified and date-stamped from the very first message. Full conversation history and context are stored alongside the maintenance request in Street, helping you stay compliant without extra effort.

How do I integrate Lettie into Street?

Lettie can be integrated with Street via an API access token. To get started, head to Settings (on the left side panel at the bottom) > Account Administration > Applications.

Note - You will need to be a Company Admin to access the Account Administration section and generate an API key.

In the 'create new application' section, add an application name (e.g. Lettie, however this can be whatever you want it to be) and in the the 'API token scope' drop-down select 'Open API'.

Finally, add a contact name and email address of who will be building the application. It is really important you enter your developer's details as opposed to your own details so we can notify them of any changes to the API that might impact your set up.

Once you've entered all of the information, click the 'create application' button and you will see an API access token appear. This token is what will be used to integrate Property Hive with Street.

Click the 'click to copy' button which will copy this API access token to your clipboard.

Note - It's important to ensure you copy the API token before navigating away from the page as the token will not display once you have left the page.

Finally, share this API access token with Lettie and they will be able to finalise the integration. For more information, see Lettie's integration help article here.

Street is constantly being updated. This can mean that some of these articles become slightly out of date. If you spot something that looks a little bit different to your Street account, please let us know on the live chat so we can get it updated!
