Before creating a sales memo, you will need to have solicitors details saved within your account. You can do this by going to Branch settings β†’ Solicitors. You can also add solicitor details at the time of raising a sales memo, these will then be stored within the Street dropdown menu for future use.

From your Street dashboard, select Sales from the left side navigation panel and select the required property. Within the Sales Progression page, you will have the option to Create the Memorandum of Sale at the top right of the page.

Here you have the option of adding extra details to the sales memo such as the 'sale subject to' information and 'additional info' that will show at the bottom of the sales memo.

Once the sales memo has been created, you will be presented with the options to view, update or send the memo within the Memo of Sale dropdown.

View allows you to see the full details of the sales memo. Update allows you to edit the additional content in the 'sale subject to' information and 'additional info' sections from earlier.

Clicking Send gives you the option of sending the sales memo to the applicant, vendor and/or solicitors.

It's important to check and ensure the sales memo is correct and up to date before sending. If the property has an EPC attached, the details will be included in the email to the solicitors. The solicitors will also receive a link to the property public page to view any additional details they may need.

Note - Sales memos that are sent to Solicitors will include all relevant details, including client correspondence addresses. The sales memo sent to clients only includes the relevant information for that party and will not include the correspondence address of the other party.

To edit the agreed sale price use the Actions dropdown and select Edit Agreed Sale Price, once the new agreed sale price has been changed, you can then regenerate the new sales memo by following the steps above.

Street is constantly being updated. This can mean that some of these articles become slightly out of date. If you spot something that looks a little bit different to your Street account, please let us know on the live chat so we can get it updated!
