Bridge is designed to migrate large amounts of data from your incumbent CRM to Street.
β
Essentially before your data export goes into Street, it will first go into Bridge. This allows us to format the data in the right way and enables a 'data clean-up' stage so that your data is as clean as possible when it is moved into Street.
Part of the data cleanse is Bridge's responsibility. It recognises duplicate people and properties and where possible, merges them into one record. However, the other part is down to you, so there is a step in the migration process where you will log into your own Bridge account and help Bridge choose which records to take through to Street.
Prior to this step in the process you will have an "Intro to Bridge" call, where we will run you through the different stages in Bridge, how to navigate the system and the decisions you will need to make.
Your Bridge dashboard will look similar to this however the numbers will likely be higher, depending on the size of your data export and the date cut-offs you choose.
Agents will usually decide to apply timeframe cut-offs to their data so they aren't bringing unnecessary data across and they start with Street in as clean an account as possible. You can have separate cuts-offs for your sales and lettings properties and your applicants. An agent can also choose to have just active applicants or both active and archived. (An example set of cut-off parameters might be - 3 years of sales properties, 6 years of lettings properties, 2 years of active applicants).
You will complete the work in Bridge in 2 stages. In Stage one you will work through an entire export of data and make the decisions Bridge requires of you. There is no time restraint on this part of the process to allow you to work through it at a pace that works for you and your agency. Once you have completed Stage one, you will move to Stage two, which is time sensitive. This is when your second export goes through Bridge to allow you to work through any duplicates that have occurred since your first data export was taken. There should be a lot less data to work through and the quicker this is done, the quicker we can move the data into Street which will reduce the time you will need to experience 'dual entry'.
Once this is completed, we will import your data to your live Street account. You will then move on to the Manual Data Refinement stage. To learn more about this, click here.
