Deleting a Person from Street

Any person's details can be deleted from Street, particularly useful if you have a client request for their data to be deleted. However it's important to note that deleting a person is permanent and cannot be reversed. You will lose any historic data relating to that person.

To delete a person go to their person page, and click the actions (at the top right) > delete person.

Depending on how much property activity the person is linked to in your account you will may see a message saying you are unable to delete them. Examples of being unable to delete a person include being a vendor with an active sale, being an applicant with an active offer and being a tenant with an active tenancy. If you see this message.

In this case, you will need to review the reasons for blocking deletion and ensure they are removed for example by rejecting an offer, falling through a sale or ending a tenancy,

If the person has no property activity linked to them you will receive a warning pop-up to confirm you want to proceed.

Important Note - Deleting a person is permanent and cannot be reversed. You will lose any historic data relating to that person.

Once the person is deleted, their name and any information relating the entity to them will be removed and changed to "Person Deleted".
