Given how many applicants will be in your system, it's important to have a way of managing which applicants are considered active and looking. From the applicant settings page, you can setup an auto expiry period where they are marked as not looking when they've become inactive.
Head to Settings (left side panel at the bottom) > Branch Settings > Applicants.
Expiry Settings
From the Expiry Settings tab you will see the relevant settings for Applicant Auto Expiry.
This setting allows you to set your applicants as no longer looking after a set time period of your choosing. The time period is from the last event the applicant took with your agency, such as attend a viewing or make an offer.
By default this feature will be toggled off but if you want to make use of it toggle it to yes and set the expiry duration, in weeks, for sales applicants and lettings applicants.
Using this feature will update the applicant's 'looking' status from 'looking' to 'not looking', when there have been no new events following the time period you've set.
Follow up Settings
From the follow up settings tab you can choose whether Street should automatically create a Follow Up Task for the any newly created applicants in the system.
You can choose to handle this separately for sales or lettings applicants and, if enabled, can set how many weeks after creation should the the task be due.
Street is constantly being updated. This can mean that some of these articles become slightly out of date. If you spot something that looks a little bit different to your Street account, please let us know on the live chat so we can get it updated!
