E-learning/elearning have a chat/communicate function whereby any student that is or was enrolled into the same Module, will be able to view the question and respond.

Much like Facebook where you leave a comment for someone to see:

To do this, navigate to the Course or Module and click on the E-learning tab.
Select the correct Page
Below you can view the comment or question and respond to it or post a new comment or question.

Note:  users must be online and active in the same E-Learning Chapter to view and respond to the comment.
