In this article we will have a short write-up and overview video, the combination of the two will bring across the intent and setup of Certificates.

Background of the feature:

  • For a short learning programme, you may want to issue a certificate for the learners who have completed the learning programme

  • You can create a custom letter for learners based on their personal information, related to a given learning programme

  • This feature is set to only create a single A4 Portrait page (i.e. if your template covers more than one page, only the first page will display/print)

  • After log in, select More > Settings > Certificate Templates

Short feature write-up overview:

Adding a certificate template -

  • Select Add

Feature Layout Overview -

  • Add a Template Name, to identify the template when issuing

  • Use the formatting tools available, including paragraphs, fonts, font size, font style, text alignment, bullets and numbering, indents, images and tables to create the body of the template (this will be demonstrated in the video)

  •  When creating the body of your certificate template, use the Data placeholders to automate the insertion of related learner details

  • Select Preview to see how it will look as you progress through the creation process

  • Select Save to save progress ( you will need to access certificate template and select edit to continue working on the template)  or to save the completed template
