How to copy your assessments and online paper questions between groups

Learning/Knowledge Assumed to be in place:

  1. Ability to log into the system (for assistance on this click here )

  2. Ability to search for modules/courses (for assistance on this click here )

  3. Ability to add groups to the module/course and have more than one group created (for assistance click here ) 

  4. Adding assessments to a group ( for assistance click here )

  5. Adding an online question paper (for assistance click here )


Background:

If you have already created an assessment or assessment with an online assessment paper and for some reason needed that particular assessment, with the question paper, added to another group, here is how you would do it.

Copying an assessment with and a linked question paper:

Step 1

In the group which requires the assessment, under List of Assessments, select Options > Add Assessment

Step 2

In the Add Assessment Modal, a line of text appears at the top, below the Modal's title, "To copy assessments from other groups belonging to this module, click here". Select  the blue here

Step 3

Select the given assessments attempts and ensure you have selected Copy questions, then select Save
​

Once added you can edit the attempts date as required.
