Background:
The purpose of this feature is if you needed to share scanned copies of documents which are stored against a student profile, maybe also a letter something that you need to keep but would also like to share with student. The way we have designed this is that the student can access it off their profile in their portal.

Navigation:
You need to view the student's profile, having access rights to the profile. So, we start on the people tab, entering the student's details research for them and then view their profile.
Under the General Tab on their profile, select Documents
Sharing the document with the learner:
Step 1 - Select Edit on the document which you would like to share
Step 2 - Select "is visible on student portal" then select save
Step 3 - You file should now display the text *This is visible on the student portal
Student Portal Access to the document:
The student's document is now viewable under their profile so to access their profile they will go to their Log off button and select the down arrow and then Profile.
In the document section of their profile, they can select view on the shared document.
