Please note that a number of changes and new features will be released in the system as of 19-20th November, one of which will directly impact on user's workflows.

This is our update to Registrations with the introduction of Registration Periods.

The video linked below will give you a clear idea of what it is and how to use it

Registration Periods replacing Registration Dates

The are other enhancements which have been added, summaries are listed below:

Updated Settings listing:

Settings will now be listed alphabetically, in ascending order, hopefully this will assist with navigation.

Updated People layout:

This update will allow for search in different contexts, i.e. you can select Student Details and only then return results for Students. The general details will still be available.

Introduction of an EduDex configuration tool:

This new tool will allow for qualifications with a certain name to not require replacement in the system or being set to inactive once they expire and new codes are assigned by HEQCIS, We have updated the logic to link Provider codes directly to intakes so that as the institution grows over time you are better able to keep track and submit older and new data, maintaining referential integrity.

New method to assign staff access control in bulk:

Under My Courses > Bulk Staff Access Control v2, you will now be able to give staff access to groups in bulk, i.e. select multiple groups and their access rights, add a list of staff and bulk apply the access rights

New System Views as alternatives for Staff:

More>Setup - Allows for staff who want to only focus on setting up a new, learning programme, Applications, Registrations, Groups.

This provides more direct access without having to be distracted by other programme settings

More > Applications - Provides a focused area for staff who only need to focus on applications

More > Registrations - Provides a focused area for staff who only need to focus on registrations

More > Groups - Provider staff with an optional view focused on the groups for modules directly, without having to go through the hierarchy of My Courses > Search > View > Campus > Section > Group. You can now just search and filter module groups directly.

Other bug fixes and improvements have also been applied
