Navigate to the Module/Course and Group for whom you would like to create a question paper for and click on by Viewing the Module, selecting the Campus and then Assessments
Create a new assessment or navigate to the Assessment for which you would like to create a question paper for.
Note: If you have never created an assessment, click HERE
First: Set the date and time of when your online assessment's attempt is to start and finish
Under the Attempts section of the Assessment, click on Options drop down list found next to the Date and select Edit to change the start and end date and time
Click on Save to commit the new date of your assessment
Second: Create your question paper
Under the Attempts section of the Assessment, click on Options drop down list found next to the Date and select Set Questions
Another window will appear with three sections:
The first gives an overview of your assessment. Take note of your Total amount. Your mark allocations to each question must equal this amount
The second section is where you will Add Sections and create questions and answer.
The last section is where you can upload files for your students to use with the assessment. For example: Assignment Instruction or Reading Material.
Click on Add Section to setup your question paper
Sections have a Name, Description and Focal Points. An example of this is set out below
After you have outlined the different sections of your question paper, you can continue adding your questions:
Multiple Choice, Text or Competency
Click on Add Question. A new window will display.
Question Type: Select Multiple Choice from the drop down menu
Lines for Answer: Set how many lines you require for your answer.
Question: Enter your question
Mark Allocation: set the mark allocation for each question
Set your Answers
Multiple Choice
Use the Add Answer button to add multiple answers to your question.
Use the Set an Incorrect or Correct answer to confirm which of the answers the correct one would be
Short and Long Answers
Click on Edit to insert the model or correct answer to the question.
After you have created all sections with their questions and all questions add up to the total above, you are done and can now navigate back to the Assessments tab. Here you have to put the assessment online for the students to see.
To do this:
Click on the first Options button next to the Assessment name
Click on Put Online
Tip! If you would like your students to upload a file - Edit the assessment and tick the box at the bottom of the screen to "allow file upload if online"
