Adding notes to your shot list in StudioBinder allows you to include detailed instructions, reminders, or creative ideas for each shot. For example, you can share important context with your team or keep track of specific details like lighting cues.

Step 1 ⏤ Open shot list settings

Click the settings icon (⋯) in the top right-hand corner of the shot list page.

Step 2 ⏤ Select customize columns

From the drop-down menu, click customize columns.

Step 3 ⏤ Adjust shot specs

In the pop-up, toggle on notes under the Advanced section & then click the (x).

Step 4 ⏤ Add notes to a shot

Click the notes icon next to the shot you want to add details for.

Step 5 ⏤ Enter and format your notes

In the pop-up, type your notes & click the (x) in the top right-hand corner when done.

Step 6 ⏤ Review your notes

Hover over the notes icon to view your added notes. These notes are now visible and can be referenced during production.
