Sometimes our topics can have a lot of questions in them, making it harder to find a subgroup of questions or specific types of questions that you might be looking for.
Our solution to this is the question filter/keyword search bar available at the top of the list of questions on a topic page.
Keyword search
To search for a keyword, type the word into the search bar and click 'Enter' on your keyboard or the magnifying glass icon on the search bar.
Filter by exam type
If you want to only see state questions or mock questions, you can use this filter to define what is shown.
Filter by year or question
Use these options to drill down into specific years or questions.
Example use case 1:
Your teacher might have given you homework and said, "Do 2022 question 8 on Trigonometry". Instead of scrolling to find it within the topic, you can filter quickly.
Example use case 2:
A particular topic might appear in short questions or long questions in an exam. Let's say the long questions are always in the exam as 'Question 7'. So you can use the question filter to instantly show only the Question 7 results.
Tip!
Consider filtering questions and then adding those to a collection for later. This could save you precious time!
Filter questions you've done/not done
The option to filter 'My Progress' will appear if you have used the 'mark as done' button on any question in the topic you're viewing. If no questions in that topic have been marked as done yet, you won't see it.
Once the option appears, click it to view what questions you have already completed/not completed.
Filter questions used in your collections
The option to filter 'My Collections' will appear if you have created a collection that contains questions from the topic you're in. If no questions in that topic exist in any of your collections, you won't see it.
Once the option appears, click it to view what collections you have using questions from that topic and select the collection of your choice to see which questions are there or not.
Example use case:
Create a collection called 'Hard Questions' and add questions that you think are tricky as you use Studyclix. Then, when you're studying later on, you can filter a topic for your 'Hard Questions' collection to quickly find the ones you thought were challenging and test yourself with them.
Tip!
Our filters and keyword search can be used in combination. E.g. you can filter for a keyword AND a specific year.
