How to: use Studyclix search (teachers)

Drill down to find exactly what you need in seconds

Updated over 3 months ago

We have a lot of content and resources on Studyclix; sometimes it can be hard to find what you need!

Our search function is optimised to help you quickly find helpful results relevant to your subjects by using sections & filters.

To start a search, click the search bar at the top of the screen and type in your search term.

From here, you can already pre-filter your results by choosing a specific section you want to find content in, e.g. exam questions only.

If you want more general results, click the search icon or hit Enter on your keyboard.

Looking for keywords in exam questions

When you search for a keyword, our tool helpfully identifies any instance of that word across all our exam questions and shows you the results.

If the word appears in an exam question, you'll see the 'Appears in question' tag. It will also show if the word appears in the marking scheme.

Finding a specific exam question

Do you know the exact exam question you're looking for? Save yourself clicking through topics to find it and type it into the search bar instead!

How?

  • Type in the question title, and our search should return it straight away for you, e.g. 'Biology 2022 Question 13'

  • Type a keyword/topic from the question, click on 'Exam Questions' to activate the filters and then use the Year/Question filters to drill down and find the exact question you need.

Finding content/helpful resources relating to a keyword

If you'd like to see what resources we have available relating to a keyword, such as what sample answers, notes, videos and Boost content we have, use our other section filters to check out what's on offer.

Can't see what you're looking for?

Make sure your search results include the subject you're looking for.

Our search tool will automatically pre-filter results to only show subjects you've selected on your account.

To widen your search, uncheck the 'My subjects' toggle, and if you'd like, use the subject filter dropdown to choose what subject you'd like to see results in.
