Whitelisting @studyclix in your school's domain

How to guide for whitelisting the Studyclix domain on Google and Microsoft

Why do I need to whitelist Studyclix?

We recommend that students and teachers use their school-supplied email addresses for the Studyclix account. In some cases, the school licence upgrade for students is an automated action based on the student's school email address linked to their account. A fundamental part of having Studyclix account at a school-supplied email address is the ability to receive important emails relating to your account.

Essential emails include:

  • Email verification codes when creating/updating account details,

  • Confirmation of account upgrade (paid or school licence),

  • Responses by our support team at info@studyclix.ie for student queries.

Additional emails that students can opt out of:
(email consents are managed in Account Settings)

  • Helpful resources and guides at key points in the school year (eg. Mock exams),

  • New content added to the students' subjects (eg. New examiner-annotated sample answers)

  • New features to improve the experience of using the site (eg. The ability to filter for keywords in questions per topic)

  • Student surveys & competitions

  • Opportunities to work with Studyclix

  5. Save changes:
-Click Save at the bottom of the page
-If asked, confirm applying the settings to all organisational units

  6. Optional - Add to Approved Senders by Bypass Filters:
-Still in Spam settings, you can also add *@studyclix.ie under Bypass spam filters for messages received from addresses or domains within these approved sender lists. This ensures Gmail won't flag them as spam.
