Your Student Balance can be used to pay for new questions that you post.

If you already have credit in your Student Balance, our system will first deduct from it and will only use your original payment method in the event the question's price is higher than your Studypool Balance.

FOR EXAMPLE: If you have $5.00 in your Student Balance and your purchase is $8.00, our system will deduct the $5 from your Student Balance and also charge $3.00 to your saved payment method. 

In case your credit matches your new question’s budget, you will still have to provide a payment method; however, you won’t be charged. We just need to verify an authorized payment method to proceed.

As a final note, you cannot add / transfer credit to your Student Balance.
