NOTE: You may feel stuck depending on the scenario or stage you’re in, however, do reach out to our support team if you are unsure. Make sure to provide the question’s URL so they can review the conversation and guide you with the next steps.

You can work on the question while you wait for a response from the student, if possible.

If you can’t move forward because the student has to provide required materials to actually complete the work, then you need to communicate this to the student and be very specific as to why you cannot complete the question.

It’s important that you do this because Studypool will review the conversation in case the student requests a refund.

We hold tutors accountable at all stages of the question, this means that if the initial question instructions state (for example) that a specific software/or book is required to complete the question which you don’t have, and you are waiting for the student to provide the material to you, then we will favor the student and you will be sanctioned. Always make sure to review all the questions requirements before bidding on it. This way, you make sure you have all you need to provide an answer to your student.

If, however, the student states in their question description that they will provide additional details once assigned to the tutor, but never do after being assigned, we will favor the tutor.

These scenarios aren’t black and white, so please always consider reaching out to support for help.

If you have any questions, or need more help with the above information, please reach out to us via Intercom.
