How to Build a Dashboard

SubcontractorHub provides essential analytics for your business through customizable reports and dashboards. Build custom reports for your specific data, such as leads, customers, projects, proposals, states, territories, and more within the SubcontractorHub platform. You can add these reports to your dashboard to visually represent and analyze your data and analytics effectively.

Step 1: Locate “Reports & Dashboard ” from the SubcontractorHub main menu and click "Dashboard".

Step 2: Click the “Add” button on the top right corner.

Step 3: Add a name, write a description, and assign the role for the new dashboard. Click “Create” on the bottom right of the pop-up window.

How to manage/update your dashboard

Step 4: Select the dashboard that you want to manage and update.

Step 5: Click on the “Edit” button next to the name of the report.

Step 6: You can edit the name of the report as well as change the display format of the report. Click “Update” after selecting your choice.

How to add a new report to your dashboard?

Step 7: Click on the “Add Report” button at the top of your dashboard.

Step 8: Choose your report and click “Select”.

Step 9: Choose your Display format for the report and click “Add”.

Step 10: To rearrange the report, utilize the "Four Arrow Keys" button located next to the report's name. Simply click the button and drag the report to your preferred position.

Step 11: Click the “Quick Save” or the "Save" button to save your edits to your dashboard.

Note: You can now create and apply custom report filters to tailor your dashboard views by user, office, date ranges, and more. This helps refine the data displayed and ensures you're seeing what matters most to your business. Follow the steps below to create report filters for the dashboard.

Step 1: Log in to the Organization portal and ensure you are on the dashboard.

Step 2: Click on the three dots and select "Create New."

Step 3: To create a report filter, enter the required information such as the filter name, office, users, and other relevant criteria.

Step 4: You can also filter by dates by selecting either a custom date range or choosing from the dropdown list.

Step 5: You can set filter default to specific Roles or Users.

  • When you choose Roles, a dropdown will appear with the different roles in your organisation. You can select one or more roles as per your needs.

  • Similarly, when you choose Users, a dropdown will appear with a list of users, allowing you to select one or more individuals.

Step 6: Click "Save" to create the filter.

Step 7: To update or edit a filter later, click the "three dots" and select the filter you want to modify.

Step 8: Make the necessary changes in the fields and then click on “Save.”

Dashboard Card Size Control

Users can resize dashboard cards by clicking and dragging in or out from the edge of a dashboard card.

Dashboard card size control lets you customize the view of your dashboard as per your necessity

Note: The dashboard and reports feature has been updated to include a refresh button. Now, after reports are edited, users can click the refresh button to see updated reports on their dashboard. This feature can also be accessed when managing dashboards from the “Dashboards” tab. Dashboards refresh automatically from the backend twice a day. Users can refresh if they want to see updated reports on dashboards immediately.
