Find out how to manually attach important documents, such as designs, permits, reports, or reference files, to your project in SubcontractorHub. While some documents (like proposals or contracts) are auto-attached upon project creation, this feature allows users with the right permissions to upload additional files as needed. All attachments are stored under the “Attachments” tab for easy reference throughout the project lifecycle.
Follow the steps to learn how to add attachments to your project:
Step 1: Go to "Manage Projects" in the left panel and click "Projects".
Step 2: Find and open the project you want to add attachments to.
Step 3: Click the “Attachments” tab on the project details page.
Step 4: Click on the "Add File” button.
Step 5: Select the “Label”, “Sub Label” and add the “Attachment”. Click “Save”.
Step 6: You can find your uploaded attachment in the Attachments list.
Note: If enabled by your administrator, you may also see options to edit or delete attachments inside the “Attachments” tab of a project. The “Edit” (pencil) icon next to the upload date allows you to update the date, and the “Delete” icon allows you to remove the attachment.
Note: A new “View Attachment History” button is now available in the project Attachments section. It displays a log of all actions performed on a file, such as edits, deletions, and other updates.
