How to Hide Preferred Finance Options in Proposals?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Finance options unselected under the “Hide Preferred Finances” setting in “Public Proposal” will no longer appear in the Preferred Finance dropdown in proposals. However, if the proposal already includes a finalized quote with that finance partner, then it will be visible in the dropdown regardless of the setting. This keeps financing choices aligned with organization preferences, reduces confusion for users, and creates a more streamlined proposal experience.

Follow the steps below to hide the preferred integrated finance options.

Step 1: From the menu, click “Settings”.

Step 2: Go to “Public Proposal” and click the “Edit” icon.

Step 3: Scroll down to “Hide Preferred Finances”.

Step 4: Click the dropdown showing all the finance options and unselect the ones you don’t want to show up on the Preferred Finance dropdown in the proposal details page.

Step 5: Scroll back up and click “Update” to save the changes.

Step 6: Go to the proposal details page and click the “Edit” icon with the Preferred Finance option to view the available finance options.

Step 7: The finance options you unselected using the “Hide Preferred Finances” option will no longer appear in the list.

Note: If a proposal has already been finalized using a finance option that is now disabled, that finance option will appear under “Preferred Finance”, regardless of the current setting.
