How to Add a New Product

This guide explains how to add a new item to your product database using the main "Products" form.

  1. To add a new item, begin by filling out the product information fields at the top of the Products page.

  2. Enter the core product details:

    • Name: The name of the product.

    • Description: A brief description of the item.

    • Manufacturer: Select from the dropdown list. You can add a new manufacturer by clicking the + button.

    • Groups: Assign the product to a relevant group from the dropdown.

    • Part Number: The manufacturer's part or model number.

    • Quantity: The number of items.

    • U/M: The Unit of Measure (e.g., Unit, Each, Ft).

  3. Under Cut Sheet File (PDF), click the Upload PDF button to attach the product's specification sheet.

  4. Click the Save button to add the new product to your database. To discard your changes, click Cancel.
