Create a New Project
What it does
Projects are the top-level organizer in Submittal App. Every product, submittal, document, and procurement item belongs to a project. You must create at least one project before you can start working.
How to create a project
Look at the sidebar on the left side of the screen. Near the top you will see a project selector showing your current project name (or "Select Project" if none is chosen).
Click the project selector to open the dropdown menu.
At the bottom of the dropdown, click New Project.
In the dialog that appears, fill in:
Project Title (required) β a name that identifies this project, for example "123 Main St Office Renovation".
Client β the client or company this project is for.
Click Create. The new project becomes your active project and the page reloads with the new project context.
Things to know
All data (products, submittals, documents, procurement) is scoped to the active project. Switching projects changes what you see everywhere in the app.
You can create as many projects as your subscription allows.
There is currently no way to delete a project from the UI. Contact support if you need a project removed.
