Submittal Editor

What it does

The Submittal Editor is a detailed view for a single submittal. It displays the submittal's PDF and provides annotation and markup tools so you can mark up products, add comments, and review the document.

PDF Viewer

The main area displays the submittal PDF with navigation controls:

  • Page navigation — buttons for first, previous, next, and last page, plus a page number input for jumping to a specific page.

  • Zoom — zoom in and out buttons.

Markup Tools

A toolbar provides drawing and annotation tools:

  • Select (pointer) — default cursor for panning and clicking.

  • Line — draw straight lines.

  • Freehand — draw freeform marks.

  • Circle — draw circles/ellipses.

  • Rectangle — draw rectangles.

  • Text — add text annotations.

  • QR Code — insert QR codes.

For each tool, you can adjust the color (via a color picker) and stroke width.

Tabs

  • Details — shows the submittal's metadata (title, number, section, contractor, etc.).

  • Markups — lists all annotations on the document with their type, page number, timestamp, and tool used. You can delete individual annotations.
