Import Products from Your Computer
How to import
Go to Import Products in the Tools section of the sidebar.
Click From Computer.
Select one or more files from your computer. Supported formats include PDF, Excel, CSV, images (PNG, JPG), and Word documents.
For each file, select a document category from the dropdown (Cut Sheet, Spec Book, Drawing, Spec Table, or Submittal). This helps the AI understand what type of document it is processing.
Optionally, add custom AI instructions in the text area to guide the extraction (for example, "Focus on lighting fixtures only" or "Extract wattage and color temperature for each product").
Click Start Import to begin the extraction process.
Wait while the progress bar moves through Uploading → Analyzing → Extracting → Complete.
Review the extracted products and save them to your catalog.
Things to know
You can upload multiple files at once. Each file is processed independently.
Remove a file before starting by clicking the X button next to it.
The file count and total size are displayed above the file list.
