Agent Pipeline (Advanced AI Extraction)
What it does
The Agent Pipeline is an advanced AI extraction mode that is slower but more thorough than the standard extraction. In addition to reading your uploaded documents, the agent searches the internet for related datasheets and manufacturer information to enrich the extracted product data.
How to use it
On the Import Products page, upload your files as usual.
Before starting the import, toggle on Use Agent Pipeline.
Optionally add custom instructions to guide the agent.
Click Start Import.
The agent pipeline takes longer to complete (typically several minutes) because it performs web searches for each product it identifies.
When to use it
When the standard extraction is not finding enough detail (missing specs, part numbers, or manufacturer data).
When you want the system to fetch official datasheets from manufacturer websites automatically.
When working with documents that reference products by name but do not include full specifications.
Things to know
The agent pipeline is significantly slower than standard extraction. Use standard extraction for quick imports where you already have detailed cutsheets.
Results from the agent pipeline tend to have more complete product specifications and may include links to datasheets found online.
