Cutsheet Search

What it does

Cutsheet Search helps you find official product datasheets and cutsheets from manufacturer websites. It searches multiple sources simultaneously and lets you save the best results directly to your product records.

How to use it

  1. Go to Cutsheet Search in the Tools section of the sidebar.

  2. Your project's products are listed on the left. Use checkboxes to select which products you want to search cutsheets for.

  3. Use the filter bar to narrow down the product list by name or manufacturer.

  4. Click Search to run a multi-source search for all selected products.

  5. Results appear as expandable cards for each product. Click a card to see results from all sources.

Search sources

Results come from three sources, each shown in its own tab:

  • Google β€” open web search results with direct links to manufacturer pages.

  • Exa β€” semantic search that understands product context and finds relevant datasheets even with partial information.

  • TinyFish β€” a specialized product database that includes extracted specs (wattage, voltage, lumens, CCT, CRI, beam angle, dimensions, mounting type) and confidence scores (High, Medium, Low).

Saving results

For each product, select the best datasheet URL from the results (using the radio buttons), then click Save Selections to attach those datasheets to your products. The cutsheet PDF will then appear on the Product Details page.
