Get help with refunding a gift card purchase from Student Perks

🧐 Can I Get a Refund?

You might be able to get a refund from a Student Perks purchase made from within the SUBTV app if:

  • You haven’t generated the gift card yet

  • It has been less than 14 days since you bought it

  • The code you received doesn’t work or is invalid

⏳How Long Do I Have?

  • You’ve got 14 days from when you bought the gift card to request a refund, if you haven’t already generated the gift card.

  • Once it’s been approved, refunds take 5-10 working days to land back into your account.

📝 How to Request a Refund

1. Go to your wallet in the SUBTV app

2. Click on the gift card purchased and press ‘request refund’

3. Next, press the drop-down button and select a reason for the refund, then click next

4. Click on the button ‘refund to your original payment method’ and press next

5. The next page will come up with the confirmation that a refund was successful and that your money will be in your account within the next 5-10 working days

  • If approved, your refund will go back to your original payment method

Here’s when refunds aren’t possible:

  • The gift card has already been generated

  • The refund request is made after the 14-day window

When requesting a refund for your student perks gift card, you’ll be asked to select an option. Here’s what each options means:

Issues generating

  • You tried to create or download your gift card, but something didn’t work properly.

Do not need anymore

  • You bought the gift card but no longer plan to use it (for example, you changed your mind or your plans have changed).

Found a better deal elsewhere

  • You discovered the same or similar gift card at a better price somewhere else after your purchase.
