Answering feedback

For every rating received, be it from sunday or from Google, you’ll be able to filter for those with without answer and see who you've already responded to.

Let customers know you care, by responding to them in a fraction of the time. Next to every Google review, you’ll be able to choose from a selection of templates. We have provided a handful covering feedback linked to service, staff, and food.

Once selected, you can always make modifications (add a few emojis 🍆🍽🕺🏽). Alternatively, write your message from scratch – even a simple “Thank you 🤩” goes a long way.

You can now respond to customers who left a sunday review and included their email. They will receive the response in an email as follow:

Creating & managing templates

You can create new response templates whenever you like to speed up the process.

We recommend having a few different templates, that respond to typical mentions – delicious food, good atmosphere, slow service, missing dishes etc.

  1. You can configure templates by visiting the settings tab

  2. Edit, delete or duplicate existing templates, or start fresh with new ones. Make sure to give each template a title.


  3. Create more personalised messages by referring to guests by name. Just a @customer_name@ to create the automated text field and @venue_name@ for your sign off

  4. Start using your templates and make replying to reviews hassle-free!


FAQs

How do we manage Google reviews in different languages?

Reviews that feed in from Google will be displayed in their original language, that is, the language used by the guest

Are we able to respond to reviews written on sunday?

You are able to respond to all incoming Google comments and the sunday reviews for which customers have chosen to leave their email to get a response

Are guests notified when we respond to their Google review?

Yes! Google sends them a notification to let them know you answered them. Taking the time to respond is really appreciated by diners and could be what gets them to come back

Are guests notified when we respond to their sunday review?

Yes! When you respond to a sunday review we actually send the guest an email which includes your response in the body of your email.

Can guest respond to our sunday review reply?

Customers can respond to the review reply by just replying to the email they received. The email will be forwarded to the email address of the sunday user who responded to the review.

Which user-roles can access the reviews section in my sunday dashboard?

Only managers and admins can access this section and see the ratings/reviews left by customers
