If you're using Chrome Browser to run Supanote (which we recommend for the best experience), but if the app isn’t picking up your voice during in-person or telehealth sessions, it’s likely a microphone setting issue.
Follow the steps below to make sure Supanote is using the correct mic on your device:
1. Open site preferences
At the top-left corner of your browser, right next to the URL, click the Preferences icon (usually represented by a small settings gear or "Site settings" symbol).
2. Access Microphone Settings
In the dropdown, find Microphone
Click the arrow > to see more options
3. Click on Manage
At the bottom of the dropdown, click Manage to open your system’s microphone settings.
4. Select the Correct Microphone
Choose your preferred input device (built-in mic, USB mic, headset)
Make sure it’s set as the default and not blocked
5. Refresh the Page and Test the Microphone
Return to Supanote and refresh the page
Start a session to confirm audio is being captured
Still not working?
Try selecting a different microphone
Restart Chrome and test again
