Adding captions

Steps to follow:

Upon completion of recording you will reach to “editing video” screen. This is where you will be able to add captions to your video and edit them according to your own style.

Here's how you can do it:

  1. Make sure to pause the video.

  2. Ensure that you are editing the entire video and not just one of the clips (0:17).

  3. Tap AI captions at the bottom - You will see community designs that other people have created, your favorites captions and “My styles” where you can create your own style.

  4. Tap my styles

  5. Tap on the blue plus icon to open the captions editor. When you're on the editor, you'll see the following:

    1. Caption splitting - you can split it by word, 1 line 2 lines and more.

    2. Fonts - You can choose any fonts you desire.

    3. Font sizing and spacing

    4. You can choose between uppercase and lowercase and title cases

    5. Choose text color - You can choose any color you desire.

    6. Alignment

    7. Position - Choose whether you want the captions in the middle, top, bottom, left, or right

    8. Background - You can choose a background color for your fonts, per word and per line.

    9. Canvas

    10. Outlines - Select a color and size for our outline

    11. Shadow

    12. Animation - You can determine which animation to add to your fonts

    13. AI power ups - highlight keywords with emojis or styles

  6. Then tap my caption style to change the name, and then tap save and save again

  7. You can now tap select style and your style has will be added to the captions!
