So you want your video to be more engaging by using image overlays?
Adding an image overlay to a specific clip gives you the opportunity to make cool adjustments.
Here's how you can do it:
Tap pause to pause the video
Ensure that you select a specific clip that you want to add image to. You can do that by tapping one of your clips at the bottom.
Tap overlays at the bottom right.
Tap the right overlay icon.
Tap the image you would like to add from the suggested options.
The image should appear on the clip screen.
You can drag and drop it using one finger or zoom in and out using two fingers.
Tap the image to open more editing functions.
As you can see once you tap it there is a frame around the overlay.

You can change the photos shape by tapping a shape
You can choose when an image will appear (click the clock icon, scroll to choose how long the image will appear, and move the cursor right or left to set the timing).
You can also save the image to your camera roll by tapping the save icon.
You can remove background by tapping the photo icon on the left.
Tap the left arrow if you want to undo
Resize + rotate - Resize using two fingers zoom in zoom out, rotate press and hold the arrow icon bottom right
Animation - Tap the bottom middle v mark icon
The overlay can have any animation you like, and you can decide whether you want the animation to appear at the beginning (In) the end (Out) or both so the animation will appear both when the text is shown and before it disappears.
Additionally, you can set the duration of the animation by moving the duration arrow.
Tap the 2 arrows icon on the bottom right to choose a random animation.
Once you have selected animation, tap apply

Duplicate image - bottom left icon
Delete image - upper left icon
You're done! Now your video would captures the audience attention!
