Getting the Most Out of SuperRise
SuperRise isn’t a quiz you can cram for - it’s a tool to help you think smarter about your business. But if you do a little prep before diving into the Q&As, you’ll fly through the modules and get sharper, more useful outputs. Here’s how to set yourself up for success (and save yourself from running out of that giant thermos of coffee, tea, or gin, halfway through).
1. Spot Your Superpower
Ask yourself: what are you uniquely positioned to do? It might be your background, your network, your tech, or the fact you’ve lived your customer’s pain firsthand. That “thing” is your unfair advantage - don’t hide it, amplify it.
Are you completely unique or Better, Faster, Cheaper - Pick Your Weapon(s)
A great proposition usually boils down to one of these:
Better: Do you deliver higher quality, more expertise, or a slicker experience than anyone else?
Faster: Do you save customers time, hassle, or endless admin?
Cheaper: Can you deliver the same outcome for less money, without cutting corners?
You don’t need to tick all three boxes. In fact, some strong businesses double down on just one.
2. Know the Playing Field
Before you sit down, jot down a few names of competitors in your space and their websites. Who’s already out there? What are they doing well? More importantly, how are you different? Don’t overthink it - this isn’t an MBA dissertation.
Just a couple of examples and a gut sense of your edge is plenty.
3. Get Inside Your Customer’s Head
Think about the people you want to serve. What keeps them awake at night? What annoys them about existing options? And how do they make buying decisions - quick impulse or slow, considered process? The more you can picture them, the more your answers (and later, your marketing) will hit home.
4. Think Industry & Market Type
Zoom out for a second. What kind of industry are you in? Fast-moving and noisy? Or traditional and cautious? Understanding the pace and expectations of your market will shape how you position yourself. What do analysts call your industry? Maybe you cover several?
5. Bring Your Thermos (or Glass)
The modules take focus, especially the first time around. Grab your fuel of choice - coffee, tea, or something stronger - and give yourself an uninterrupted block of time. You’ll get into flow faster and avoid half-finished answers that don’t do your business justice.
6. Remember: You’re Not Alone (most of the time)
Yes, you’ll be answering questions. But behind the scenes, our platform is powered by multiple LLMs (we’re proudly agnostic-no one-size-fits-all here).
The AI assistant is there to help connect the dots, refine your thinking, and turn your answers into coherent copy examples, strategies and content.
And sometimes it isn’t there…that’s not a bug. It’s because the question we’re asking is super fundamental and we need the answer from you. It has to be your thinking. Not the AIs.
The bottom line
The more prepared you are, the more SuperRise can do for you. A little prep = sharper answers. Sharper answers = better strategies, clearer brands, stronger marketing, and more customers knocking at your door.
So, sharpen your pencil (or pour your gin), and let’s get building.
