Footprint fields explained

We understand that providing footprint data can be quite overwhelming and difficult. At tex.tracer, we aim to keep things as simple as possible for you. That is why we have minimised the amount of questions in the platform, and provided you with a detailed explanation of what you will need to answer in this article.

For each product that has been created, we have divided the processes into 4 sections:

  1. Yarn: on the yarn level, the yarn supply chain partner(s) provides information about the yarn(s) used for the final garment/product.

  2. Fabric: on the fabric level, the fabric supply chain partner(s) provides information about the fabric(s) created for the final garment/product.

  3. Wet processes: supply chain partners that dye, print, and add coatings/finishings to the fabric or garment/final product can provide information about their process.

  4. Garment: the confectioning partner or manufacturer creating the final garment or product provides information about the trims/accessories and the final product.
