How Can I Manage Communication with Supporters on My Registry?
Effective communication with your supporters is essential for maintaining engagement and transparency in your registry. This guide explains how to manually send thank-you messages and notify supporters about changes to your registry goals.
Sending Thank-You Messages
Thank-you messages are sent via chat on the website — not through email or a public post. To send one:
Navigate to the Activity section on your Organizer Dashboard.
Locate the specific supporter action (e.g., donation or raised hand).
Click on Say Thanks next to the action.
Type your personalized message and send it.
The supporter is notified by email and can reply directly, so this starts a real conversation.
Note: Only one thank-you message can be triggered per supporter action using the "Say Thanks" button. To continue the conversation, find the chat under the Chats section of your Organizer Dashboard and send additional messages from there.
Notifying Supporters About Goal Changes
If you decide to increase the goal amount on your registry, supporters are not automatically notified. To inform your community about this update, you can:
Post an update on your SupportNow page.
Share the update with your supporters through your preferred communication channels.
This ensures that your supporters stay informed and engaged with your registry’s progress.
Best Practices for Registry Management
Be Transparent: Regularly update your supporters about your registry’s progress and any changes.
Personalize Communication: Tailor your thank-you messages and updates to make your supporters feel valued.
Engage Consistently: Use your SupportNow page to share milestones, stories, or updates to keep your community involved.
By following these steps and best practices, you can effectively manage communication with your supporters and foster a stronger connection with your community.
