Purchase & Register Your Phone Number

A quick guide to purchasing a phone number and registering for A2P.

This tutorial walks you through buying a phone number within your account settings. You'll learn how to filter by area code and choose a number that fits your brand. Perfect for businesses needing localized or professional contact numbers.

1. Head to the left side bar, and hover on "Settings".

2. Click on "Phone Number".

3. Head to the top right hand corner and click on "Add Phone Number".

4. After that, click on "Filter".

5. Next, select "Any part of number".

6. Click on "First part of number".

7. Enter an area code you would like to purchase from.

8. Select the phone number you would like to purchase.

9. Select "Proceed To Buy" to finalize the purchase!

Overview


Adding Phone Numbers:

  • Navigate to Settings > Phone Numbers:

  • Begin by clicking on Settings and selecting Phone Numbers from the menu.

  • Within the Phone Numbers section, you have the option to add a Phone Number or a Number Pool. Click on the "Add Phone Number" button to initiate the process.

  • Search for your country, and filter as needed. You can search by digits or phrases, filter by capabilities, and by number type.

  • Select your phone number

  • Click on Proceed to Buy

Note: Please be aware that the availability of area codes is subject to change. If your desired area code is unavailable, alternative options are provided for your consideration.

Number Pools for Enhanced Tracking

Number pools are a great way to track the calls driven by paid campaigns. Using number pools, you can attribute call-tracking conversations based on specific phone numbers being shown to leads that land on designated landing pages and websites. These numbers(s) are only displayed on specific pages and are only shown to leads who take a specific course of action. They’re also known as “call tracking codes,” but we call them “number pools.”

Step 1: Access the Number Pools Section:

  • Go to Phone Numbers, Add Number, then, add Pool Number. This feature is designed to enhance your tracking capabilities from various sources.


Step 2: Create a Number Pool:

  • Within the Number Pools section, you can create distinct pools to categorize numbers based on campaigns, regions, or specific purposes. This organized approach ensures efficient management and monitoring of your communication channels.

  • Select the aspects you want to track, and who would you like to track, and fill out the number pool information.

Edit and Delete Functions:

Step 1: Utilize Edit and Trash Icons:

  • Within the Phone Numbers section, you have the flexibility to see more information on the number, and edit or delete your numbers as needed. The edit icon enables you to modify number details, ensuring accuracy in your records. On the other hand, the trash icon allows seamless removal of numbers that are no longer required, maintaining optimal organization.

1. Review the A2P Registration requirements carefully.

2. Click on "Phone Number" to proceed.

3. Hit "Add Number" to include a new number.

5. Click on "Filter" to narrow down your choices.

7. Click on "First part of number" to refine it further.

8. Type in your area code (there might not be any phone numbers for certain areas).

9. Click on "Apply" to see the filtered results.

10. Click on "Proceed to Buy" when ready.

12. Select "Trust Center".

13. Click on "Start Registering Now" to begin the registration.

14. You need to have a registered business in any country to be successfully registered.

15. Once ready, click "Continue".

16. Please fill out all of this information accurately to make sure the registration goes through. This should be the exact information that shows on your legal document.

17. Next, click on "Continue" to keep moving forward.

18. Fill in your business address accurately on this page!

19. Click on "Continue" to finalize your inputs.

20. Fill out the authorized representative based on your legal information.
