Overview

Real-time booking with Voice OS enables seamless appointment scheduling, allowing users to book meetings instantly through an AI assistant. This guide walks you through the process of setting up real-time booking.


🔹 Step-by-Step Guide to Creating an OS Appointment in Voice OS

1️⃣ Create a New Appointment Action

  1. Navigate to the Actions tab.

  2. Click Real-Time Booking.

  3. Click Create.

2️⃣ Connect OS Calendar

  1. Select your OS Calendar.

  2. Click Connect.

  3. Choose your Subaccount (Agency accounts don’t have calendars, so a subaccount is required).

  4. Click Create again to finalize the connection.

3️⃣ Configure Your Booking Settings

  1. Select OS Calendar.

  2. Use the dropdown to pick your calendar.

  3. Click Next.

  4. Update the Calendar Title if needed.

  5. Enable Automatically Confirm Appointments.

  6. Adjust the number of days available in the first exchange. (This doesn’t limit the Assistant from offering slots beyond this timeframe.)

  7. Adjust the number of slots per day shown in the first exchange. (Additional slots can be offered if required by the user.)

  8. Set the time gap between slots.

  9. Click Save.

4️⃣ Enable Real-Time Booking for an Assistant

  1. Return to the Assistants tab.

  2. Select the Assistant where you want to enable Real-Time Booking.

  3. Go to the Actions tab.

  4. Click Add.

  5. Select the Real-Time Booking Action you just created.
