✅ Before You Connect
Make sure the following are set up correctly:
Instagram Account Type
Your Instagram must be a Business or Creator account.
How to switch your account type → Set up a business account on Instagram
Allow Message Access
Instagram → Settings > Privacy > Messages > Connected Tools
Enable Allow Access to Messages
Link Instagram to Facebook Page
Meta requires this connection to enable messaging features.
Meta linking instructions → Create a business portfolio in Meta Business Suite and Business Manager
🔗 How to Connect Instagram to OS
In your OS dashboard, go to Settings > Integrations
Click Connect Instagram
Follow the Meta login prompts
→ Log into Facebook (if asked)
→ Accept all requested permissions
→ Ensure your Instagram is linked to the correct Facebook Page
Choose your Facebook Page(s) and click Update
Click Connect Facebook & Instagram to finalize
💡 Once connected, the Facebook + Instagram icons will light up in your OS dashboard. This means your accounts are synced and ready for automated DMs, lead capture, and tracking.

Publish & test from your IG account.
