Surfe’s credit system is here to make finding accurate contact information for your leads easy and efficient. Let’s take a look at how credits work, the types available, and when they're used.
Types of Surfe Credits
Surfe offers two types of credits:
Email Credits: Used to retrieve email addresses and landline or HQ phone numbers.
Mobile Credits: Used specifically to find mobile phone numbers.
You can view your current credit balance in the Surfe side panel. If you're having trouble locating your Surfe side panel, check out this article.
You can also see your credits in the Surfe app.
When is a Credit Consumed?
A credit is only used when contact information is successfully found. If no result is available, no credit is deducted.
Where and How Are Credits Used?
Credits can be used in both the Surfe Extension and Surfe App:
Surfe Extension: When searching for contact information directly on LinkedIn profiles or when exporting lists from LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Surfe App: When enriching a contact list to retrieve email or mobile details.
If you want to check your available credits, visit our pricing page or go directly to the Billing section in your Surfe Dashboard (My Surfe plan).
NOTE
You can choose to search only for emails (by toggling off mobile search), but mobile searches always include emails as well.
How Surfe Finds Contact Information
Surfe pulls data from multiple providers and verifies contact details for high accuracy. Only one credit is charged per successful result, even if multiple providers are queried. You also have the option to connect your own providers, and Surfe can prioritize their use.
Extra Credits
Extra credits are additional, one-time credits that can be purchased separately:
Available in various quantities, from 100 to 500,000 email credits and 500 to 50,000 mobile credits.
Extra credits expire three months after purchase and are shared among team members once plan credits are exhausted.
Suggested Credits
When enriching a list, Surfe will recommend the appropriate number of extra credits based on your list’s requirements, taking into account the find rate and any remaining credits.
