To avoid creating duplicate contacts during enrichment, it's essential that each contact in your CRM has a LinkedIn URL. This ensures that Surfe enriches the correct records and doesn't generate duplicates.
Here’s how you can update LinkedIn URLs in bulk using Surfe:
Step 1: Prepare Your CSV File
Start by preparing a Google Sheet or Excel file containing the contacts from your CRM.
Make sure your file follows the required template – you can download it here.
Your CSV must include these mandatory fields:
First Name
Last Name
Company Name
Important: Save your file in UTF-8/Unicode CSV format.
You can do this by downloading the spreadsheet as a CSV from Google Sheets, or by converting an Excel file using tools like Convertio.
Step 2: Upload Your CSV to Surfe
Head to the Surfe App and navigate to Enrich CSV.
Upload your prepared CSV file.
Follow the prompts to map your fields (First Name, Last Name, and Company Name must be mapped).
Once mapped, click “Enrich List of Contacts.”
Surfe will now search and automatically enrich your file with LinkedIn URLs.
Step 3: Download and Re-Upload to Your CRM
Once enrichment is complete, the list will be saved in your My Lists tab in Surfe.
You can download the enriched CSV containing the LinkedIn URLs.
Simply upload this file back into your CRM to update your records with LinkedIn URLs.
