🆕 Exclusion Filter in Surfe Search

Updated over 2 weeks ago

What are Exclude Filters?

Exclude Filters let you remove specific attributes from your search results in the Surfe App. You can filter out industries, regions, or keywords that aren’t relevant to your prospecting.

This means you’ll spend less time scrolling through noise and more time focusing on the right contacts.

Why use Exclude Filters?

  • Save time: Skip irrelevant leads.

  • Increase precision: Focus on the contacts that really matter.

  • Cleaner results: Avoid clutter when categories overlap (e.g., keep Entertainment but exclude Music).

  • Use credits wisely: Apply your searches where they’ll bring the best return.

How to Use Exclude Filters

  1. Open the Surfe App and go to your search filters.

  2. Look for the new Exclude Filter option.

  3. Enter the attributes you want to exclude (e.g., industries, regions, or keywords).

  4. Run your search.

  5. Review your results — only contacts outside those exclusions will appear.

    FAQs

❓ Can I exclude job titles?

Not yet. At the moment, the job title filter searches the roles you enter (and related expansions). Job title exclusion is on our roadmap.
