Setting Up Your Firm & Team Settings

Setup guide for firm settings, team roles, branding, billing, and security.

Welcome aboard! Before diving into the platform’s core features, we recommend starting with your Firm Settings. This is where you configure your team, branding, and account details—all of which shape your experience across the platform.

Below is a step-by-step breakdown of each tab within your Settings page:


My Profile

This section is specific to you, not your whole firm.

  • Update your name and email

  • Upload your profile photo (used across internal views)

  • Set your contact preferences

  • Review your login email and session history

If you are an advisor and will be generating Value Adds, your profile name (first and last) will be displayed on your client’s Value Add Documents.


Firm Info

This tab contains high-level details about your firm and how it will appear across the platform:

  • Set your firm name

  • Upload your firm logo

  • Choose a branding color — this color will appear on Value Add documents

  • Manage your primary contact (address, phone, email)- This will be displayed in the footer of all Value Add documents.

Note: Branding details (logo + color) will also automatically show up on documents you generate from within the platform.


Team Members

This is where you manage access to your firm’s workspace.

  • Invite new users by email

  • Assign roles (e.g., Admin, Lead Advisor, Assistant, etc.)

  • Revoke access for former teammates

  • Map users to imported advisors (from Redtail or other sources)

You can also manage permissions for each role. For example, assistants can be assigned to specific advisors only.


Value Adds

Customize the Value Adds your firm will use.

  • Toggle value adds on/off to suit your firm’s workflow

  • Rename value adds (e.g., “Net Worth” → “Assets Overview”)

  • Set default disclaimer text — appears at the bottom of every Value Add PDF

These settings help you control what clients see and how your documents are presented.


Billing

Manage your subscription and payments here.

  • Start on a Free Plan to explore the platform

  • Upgrade when you’re ready — plans are priced per advisor seat

  • Update credit card info and view past invoices

  • Cancel or change your plan at any time

Billing is visible only to users with Admin privileges.


My Security

Keep your account secure.

  • Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

  • Review recent login activity

  • Change your password

Security is managed at the individual level to ensure each team member is protected.
